Jimbo's Carburetion was started out of the need for a quality, race prepared Quadra-Jet carburetor, which if you've found this Website, have probably figured out is hard to find.
I initially built one carburetor as a favor while racing with a friend, Brandon Buhler. Brandon ended up winning the track championship at his home track, Baton Rouge Raceway and in the 2006 season finished fourth nationally in UMP limited Modified point standings, He is also on track to finish well in the 2007 season .
Going Forward, intrigued with the workings of this carburetor I set out to make it perform to the best of my ability, for circle track applications. This is easier said than done, as I figured out in the time to come. Being one to never leave well enough alone. We have developed what we believe to be a Top notch carburetor that is second to none.
We've put countless hours of R&D into our program which has included the input and feedback of one very talented driver and Chassis set up guru, Bill Gordon. Bill hung with me Through the development of these carburetors. Through perseverance and hard work, we ended up with an excellent product.
I run Jimbo's Carburetion as a small scale business. I personally assemble every carburetor from start to finish. I will not accept anything less than 100% quality. I have no desire to build the most carburetors. Here at Jimbo's We strive to build only the best, and back them up with un-paralelled customer service. We will continue to look for the next horsepower and with Bill's help continue to improve the drivability of our carburetors
